The Minister of Finance and National Economy meets the U.S. Treasury Secretary

Washington, Oct. 18 (BNA): The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, today met with the U.S. Treasury Secretary, the Honorable Steven Terner Mnuchin, on the sidelines of HE the Minister’s participation in the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). HE the Minister highlighted the long-standing bilateral-ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America. HE the Minister stressed the importance of furthering the close economic and strategic cooperation between the two nations. HE the Minister and the U.S. Treasury Secretary reviewed Bahrain-U.S. economic cooperation and means to further advance them across all levels.
