Dar al-Salam organization meets kidnapped Dutch couple


SANA'A, April 09 (Saba) - Chairman of Dar al-Salam organization
Abdul-Rahman al-Marwani revealed that a delegation of the
organization has met the kidnapped Dutch couple at Bani Dhabian area
of Sana'a governorate.

Al-Marwani told the state-run 26sep.net the delegation met the
kidnapped Dutch couple at Rababa Mountain after prior coordination
with Sheikhs' of Bani Dhabian.

The organization provided the Dutch couple with some food that is
unavailable in the area and enabled the couple to contact with their
embassy at Sana'a, al-Marwani said.

He added that the Dutch couple ensured organization delegation that
they were well and in good health so far.

The organization also noted the tribal mediation committee has met
the kidnappers, listened to their requests and offered some
solutions to end the kidnapping.

Noteworthy, Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Rashad
al-Alimi briefed Wednesday the Dutch ambassador to Sana'a Harry
Buikema on the exerted efforts to release the Dutch expert and his
wife.

Earlier, the spokesperson and Minister of Information Hasan al-Lawzi
has said that efforts for setting the couple free were ongoing to
ensure safe release.

He has confirmed refusal of the government to the conditions of the
kidnappers, saying that the kidnappers should release the hostages
safely.

The Minister has emphasized that the Dutch couple would be released
soon.

A Dutch expert and his wife were kidnapped Tuesday, October 31st, by
outlaw elements in Bani Dhabian area of Sana'a governorate.
