Alexandria Library receives Saudi, Arab gifts of valuable Books

Cairo, April 09, SPA -- A number of Arab ministries of culture have
gifted Egypt's Alexandria Library valuable publications including
books, periodicals and encyclopedia covering various scientific and
cultural fields and reflecting the Arab and Islamic culture, it was
reported here today.

In a statement, the head of libraries' sector at the Library of
Alexandria Suhair Wastawy said that the Ministry of Culture and
Information of Saudi Arabia has donated parts of the Arab World
Encyclopedia to the Library of Alexandria.
