Interior Minister receives NESA Centre Director

Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today Director of Near East South Asian Centre for Strategic Studies in the US, Lt-General (Ret) Terry Wolff. Bahrain Ambassador to Washington, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa and Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan attended the meeting. The Interior Minister welcomed the guest’s visit to Bahrain to participate in the Security Summit “Manama Dialogue” that commenced today evening to discuss top regional challenges. He hailed the US participation in the summit that is held annually in Bahrain. He also highlighted the importance of security visions and studies discussed during the event. The meeting reviewed topics of common interest. The meeting was also attended by the General-Director of Media and Security Culture, Director of the Jointer Counter-terrorism Centre of the Interior Ministry and Security Attaché of Bahraini Embassy in the US.
