Tawasul App wins prestigious award

Kuwait, Nov.27 (BNA): Bahrain’s National Suggestion and Complaint system “Tawasul” has won His Highness Shaikh Salim Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award. The Tawasul Application was among ten Arab Informatics projects which were declared winners of the 19th edition of the prestigious Kuwaiti award. The Amir of Kuwait His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah honoured the 2019 prizewinners. National Suggestion and Complaint system “Tawasul” was launched five years ago, following directives from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. Interior Ministry Undersecretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa received the award during a prizewinning ceremony, which was held today in Kuwait. He stressed the importance of the award which recognizes National Suggestion and Complaint system “Tawasul” and reflects efforts to consolidate comprehensive communication, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. He extended congratulations to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. He paid tribute to the Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, for his directives to strengthen community partnership and optimize the use of the National Suggestion and Complaint system “Tawasul”.
