Foreign Minister receives Irish Ambassador-Designate credentials copy

Manama, Dec. 3 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received in his office at the Ministry’s General Court today, Mr. John Gerard McCoy, who presented a copy of his credentials as Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Ireland to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh. The Minister lauded the relations of friendship linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Ireland, highlighting their development in various areas. He also wished the Ambassador success in carrying out his diplomatic duties. For his part, Ambassador McCoy stressed the keenness of the Republic of Ireland to further enhance bilateral relations with the Kingdom in the interest of both countries and people. He also wished the Kingdom continued success.
