HM King receives BACA president

Manama, Dec.3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received today, at Al-Sakhir Palace, Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, who outlined preparations to take part in the Expo 2020 Dubai, the first and the largest of its kind in the Arab region, the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. HM the King commended BACA-led efforts and those in charge of Bahrain’s pavilion in the global event, which represents a first-hand platform to promote Bahrain’s millennia-old civilization and diverse cultural achievements as a world-standard cultural tourism destination in the region. He lauded the role played by the authority in preserving the national heritage and civilizational and cultural monuments, reviving the authentic Bahraini values and heritage, in addition to enriching the cultural and literary movement. He wished the authority every success in its participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, which will be held in the emirate of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. BACA president expressed deepest thanks to HM the King, hailing royal directives and constant support to culture and heritage. She underlined keenness on implementing HM the King’s directives so as to reflect Bahrain’s longstanding civilization and cultural legacy.
