Interior Minister receives Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington President

Manama, Dec. 8 (BNA): Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today President of the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington, Ambassador Douglas A. Silliman. Chief of Public Security, Lt. General Tariq Al Hassan attended the meeting. The Interior Minister hailed the guest's visit to Bahrain as part of efforts to exchange views. He hailed the advanced level of the institute and its strategic security research and studies to contribute to the reinforcement of regional and international peace and security. The meeting reviewed cooperation and coordination and topics of common interest.
