HM King receives Bruneian Second Foreign Minister

Manama, Dec. 12 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriyah Palace today the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam, HE Erywan Pehim Yusof. HM the King welcomed the minister who conveyed to him the greetings of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei and his best wishes of more growth and prosperity to Bahrain and its people. HM the King asked him to convey his greetings to the Bruneian monarch and his best wishes of further growth to the Bruneian people. He lauded strong bilateral relations and cooperation and their perpetual development at all levels. He also underlined the importance of further consolidating ties binding both countries through the establishment of joint committees. HM the King underscored Bahrain’s keenness to enhance relations with Brunei Darussalam and bolster cooperation with it mainly in the economic, commercial, investment and cultural fields. He lauded the positive outcome of his visit to Brunei Darussalam in 2017 during which he held talks with Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah to boost bilateral coordination at all levels. The Bruneian Second Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated HM the King on the National Day and Bahrain National Football Team’s winning of the 24th Gulf Cup. He expressed heartfelt thanks and respect to HM the King for the gracious welcome and hospitality and keenness to further consolidate relations between the two friendly countries.
