Bahrain Commemorative Stamp on Bahrain’s National Day 2019 issued

Manama Dec. 15 (BNA): Bahrain proudly celebrates the 48th Anniversary of its National Day, commemorating the establishment of the Bahraini state as an Arab and Muslim country founded by Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783, the anniversary of its admission to the United Nations as a state of a full membership, and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne. The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunication’s Bahrain Post, in cooperation with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), has the honor to issue a single commemorative stamp, crowned by the portrait of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Bahrain, and with text symbolizing the spirit of Bahrainis: Pure hearts and thankful people. The stamp is available in a 500 fils denomination and a first day cover at 750 fils. The stamps are available at all Bahrain Post branches.
