HM King receives German Ambassador

Manama, Dec.23 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has received today, at Al-Safriya Palace, German Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Kai Thamo Boeckmann. HM the King hailed strong historic relations and advanced joint cooperation in all fields, hailing the ambassador’s efforts to develop joint ties, which would benefit the two friendly countries and peoples. The German Ambassador presented to HM the King a book themed “Purebred Arabian Horses”, along with a letter from Dr. W. Georg Olms, President of the International Association for the Preservation and Rearing of the Asil Arabian Horse, in recognition of HM the King’s efforts to promote purebred Arabian horses. HM the King thanked the ambassador and the association president for the gifted book, which sheds light in the purebred Arabian horses which, he said, reflects Germany’s keenness on purebred Arabian horses. He affirmed Bahrain’s keen interest in conserving purebred Bahraini and Arabian horses which are characterized by beauty and quality and which represent an essential part of the historical and heritage identity that was established by fathers and forefathers. The German ambassador hailed Bahrain’s keenness on conserving purebred Arabian horses thanks to HM the King’s directives. He said that Bahrain is one of the most important countries which possess the best stables of purebred Arabian horses. He expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King, hailing his keenness on bolstering bilateral relations. He hailed the warm welcome and hospitality which the German community finds in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
