Bahrain's efforts to protect children's rights praised

Manama, Jan. 2 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan met in his office the Director of the International Organisation for Child Protection office in Bahrain Salman Khalid Sabat Al Sebei. They reviewed Bahrain's efforts to boost child protection and the programmes carried out by the Labour and Social Development Ministry to develop the children's creativity and provide children's with special needs with the needed care. The Labour and Social Development Minister underlined the great importance accorded to the child sector which has known many achievements, including the National Child Strategy which represents a framework to promote children's rights. Al Sebei hailed the efforts made by the Bahraini government in boosting the children's rights, expressing keenness on more cooperation to further optimise the services provided to the children.
