Bahrain leadership congratulated on National Guard anniversary

Manama, Jan. 6 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from National Guard Commander General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa on the 23rd anniversary of the National Guard. The National Guard Commander extended on behalf of the National Guard personnel heartfelt congratulations to HM the King on the occasion. He lauded the unflinching royal support to the National Guard to boost its role as a military depth of Bahrain Defence Force and a shield of the Public Security forces in protecting national achievements and maintaining the kingdom’s security, territorial integrity and citizens’ welfare. He reiterated allegiance to the nation and HM the King to preserve the kingdom's sovereignty and stability, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect HM the King. HM King Hamad sent a reply cable of thanks to the National Guard Commander, describing the National Guard and Bahrain Defence Force as the bulwark of the nation. He lauded perpetual development of the National Guard under the leadership and directives of General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also conveyed his greetings to the National Guard personnel, wishing all every success in serving the nation and preserving hard-won gains. His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, received similar cables of congratulations from the National Guard Commander. They sent reply cables of thanks to the National Guard Commander, pledging to continue supporting all steps to promote the security system in Bahrain and lauding the tremendous efforts of the National Guard Commander and personnel in preserving national accomplishments.
