Commander-in-chief receives US Air Forces CENTCOM commander

Manama, Jan.12 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received at the BDF’s General Command today, the Commander of the US Air Forces Central Command, Lieutenant- General Joseph T. Guastella, and his accompanying delegation. Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, and Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were present. The commander-in-chief welcomed the US delegation, and lauded the friendship relations between the two countries. The two sides discussed ways to strengthen the steadily growing bilateral ties, especially regarding military coordination and defence cooperation. BDF General Command Court Director, Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering, Rear Admiral Yussef Ahmed Malallah, Bahrain Royal Air Force Commander, Air Vice-Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Director of Military Cooperation, Rear Admiral, Mohammed Hashim Al-Sada, and senior BDF officers were present.
