Peninsula Shield Force officers honored

Manama, Jan. 16 (BNA): A ceremony to honor the armed forces of Saudi Arabia and the armed forces of the United Arab Emirates, attached to the advance command of the Peninsula Shield Force was held at the BDF. Major General Shaikh Ali bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Assistant Chief of Staff for Human Resources was present at the ceremony. Officers from the Saudi and Emirati forces were granted first-class field service badges and non-commissioned officers and individuals were awarded second-class field service badges. The honors were in recognition of their dedicated efforts within the Peninsula Shield Force that consolidate the strong bonds between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Major General Shaikh Ali conveyed the greetings and congratulations of BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikha Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa to the Saudi and UAE officers.
