SCW Secretary General receives Egyptian ambassador

Manama, Jan. 20 (BNA): Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Hala Al Ansari received today newly-appointed Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Yasser Mohammed Amed Shaban. She welcomed him, wishing him success in his new duties. She lauded deep-rooted relations between both countries and growing cooperation in the field of women’s empowerment. She also highlighted the priorities of SCW and its future programmes to implement the vision of its President Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King. The Egyptian ambassador commended the rich march of SCW under the presidency of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King. He voiced Egypt’s readiness to boost bilateral cooperation in empowering women. He also commended the Bahraini women’s achievements and contribution to the kingdom’s growth and prosperity.
