Minister: Deep-rooted relations contributed to strengthening economic cooperation with Kuwait

Manama, Jan. 21 (BNA): Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has affirmed the strength of the existing Bahraini-Kuwaiti partnership and cooperation across various fields, which has contributed to boosting bilateral economic and financial relations. This is the fruitful outcome of the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples, as well as the constant interest and keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Kuwaiti Amir, His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the minister said. The minister made the statements while receiving here today the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain, Shaikh Thamer Al-Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa highlighted the importance of further strengthening bilateral relations in various economic sectors, and opening up new horizons of joint partnership to benefit the two countries and their brotherly peoples. The two sides discussed ways to bolster the Bahraini-Kuwaiti cooperation to achieve more progress and meet the aspirations of the two countries. The latest global economic developments were also reviewed.
