KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 (Bernama) -- The traits of the second Malaysian prime
minister, the late Abdul Razak Hussein, who was concerned about the problems
faced by the people, is clearly inherent in his eldest son, Najib,
who is the country's sixth Prime Minister.

Abdul Razak's former aide-de-camp, Mohd Nordin Idris said these traits were
clearly visible when Najib made surprise visits to Brickfields, Petaling Street
and Kerinchi as soon as he was appointed Prime Minister.

Speaking at the Tun Abdul Razak forum at the 'Akademi Seni Budaya dan
Warisan Kebangsaan' (National Heritage and Arts and Culture Academy) here,
Tuesday, he said Abdul Razak was a leader who was committed to his work to bring
development to the nation at all times.

"He (Abdul Razak) worked all the time, from morning till late at night.

"When he had the time, he was prepared to go to all parts of the country to
look for himself the people's condition of living and make plans to improve
their livelihood," he said.
