Ambassador to Egypt receives Assistant Secretary-General of Arab Parliament

Cairo, Feb. 4 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador-Designate to Egypt and the Kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder, received the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament, Abdul-Azim Al-Babli. The ambassador stressed the Arab Parliament’s important role towards the issues of the Arab nation. He also noted the honorable stances of the parliament towards Bahrain, appreciating the Secretariat of the Arab Parliament’s role to support Arab issues. The Assistant Secretary-General emphasized the importance of holding bilateral meetings to discuss issues affecting the Arab people and their aspirations, praising the role of the Kingdom in supporting stability and peace in the region.
