Export Bahrain signs an agreement with SACE S.P.A. during HRH the Crown Prince’s official visit to the Italian Republic

Rome, Feb.4 (BNA): Export Bahrain, the national export promotion agency, today signed an agreement with SACE S.P.A, the Italian Export Credit Agency, to increase exports between the two countries. Under the agreement, Export Bahrain and SACE S.P.A. agreed to exchange information on business opportunities to further promote exports, including utilising the exchange of knowledge to aid capacity building. HE Zayed R. Alzayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, SME Development Council Chairman, and Mr. Michal Ron, Managing Director and Head of International Business of SACE S.P.A, signed the agreement during His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister’s official visit to the Italian Republic. The Agreement will create promising growth opportunities for Bahrainis and Italians alike by expanding SMEs' global market reach and spurring job creation. Export Bahrain brings together resources from local and international partners to further strengthen SMEs’ international sales strategies and their ability to compete in the global market. Export Bahrain continues to support the expansion of non-oil exports by broadening the range of business development services on offer to include export financing, export credit insurance, export shipment solutions, market intelligence, business to business facilitation, deal support, and advisory services.
