Information Minister congratulates Bahrain leadership

Manama, Feb.4 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister, Bahrain Institute of Political Development (BIPD) Board of Trustees’ Chairman, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi paid tribute to the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), hailing its glorious history, honourable sacrifices and pivotal role in protecting national sustainable achievements in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Supreme Commander. He extended deepest congratulations to HM the King on the 52nd anniversary of the BDF establishment. congratulated His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He also sent congratulations to the Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and the BDF servicemen, hailing their dedication in assuming their national duties, defending the nation and participating actively in maintaining regional and international peace, supporting the efforts of the Saudi-led Arab and Islamic Coalition, combating terrorist organisations and deterring external dangers. The minister hailed the BDF strides, hailing the farsighted vision of HM the King the Supreme Commander, who took the initiative, over five decades ago, to establish the national force, develop its capabilities, supply it with latest military systems so as to assume its sacred duties in defending the nation, protecting security, order and the rule of the law, in partnership with the Public Security and the National Guard, in addition to supporting international efforts aimed to maintain peace, combat terrorism, serve humanity, out of firm belief the security and peace are the cornerstone of progress and sustainable development.
