Bahrain's ambassador, Massachusetts governor discuss topics of common interest

Boston, Feb. 5 (BNA): Bahrain's Ambassador to the U.S. Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashed Al Khalifa, met in Boston with the Governor of the State of Massachusetts Charlie Baker.
The ambassador stressed Bahrain's keenness to promote joint action with the USA, as well as means to develop cooperation and coordination in several aspects.
Shaikh Abdullah also hailed the two countries’ mutual desire to further prospects of cooperation in a way that enhances bilateral relations.
In this context, he highlighted the importance of the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Interior and the Boston Police, which will contribute to the development of cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of forensic evidence as well as in various areas of security cooperation.
Governor Baker expressed his pride in the friendship and cooperation between Bahrain and the USA and the development they have witnessed at all levels, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
The meeting discussed topics of shared interest and reviewed the distinguished relations between Bahrain and the USA, along with the prospects of cooperation and coordination in general, and cooperation in the educational, economic and security fields with Massachusetts in particular.
