Operative team led by NEMA First Deputy Head to work in border checkpoints

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An operative team headed by First Deputy Head of the National Emergency Management Agency, Brigadier General G.Ariunbuyan departed today morning for border checkpoints. Corresponding specialists of the Ministry of Road and Transport Development, the General Agency for Specialized Inspection, the General Intelligence Agency, the National Police Agency, the General Authority for Border Protection, the General Customs Agency, the National Road Transport Center and the National Research Center for Communicable Diseases are among the constitution of the operative team. The working group will become acquainted with operations, ongoing responsive actions for prevention of novel coronavirus infection in Zamyn-Uud border checkpoint in Zamyn-Uud soum of Dornogobi aimag, Gashuunsukhat border checkpoint in Khanbogd soum and Shiveekhuren border checkpoint in Gurvan Tes soum of Umnugobi aimag and Buyant-Ukhaa border checkpoint in Ulaanbaatar city as well as preparedness of professional organizations while giving instructions. The working group also aims to make inter-sectoral activities coherent, which are responsible for implementation of decisions made by the Government of Mongolia and the State Emergency Commission on preventing and combating with novel coronavirus infection, provide them with integrated management and to resolve encountering issues and created conditions in the border checkpoints.
