Works minister receives Egyptian ambassador

Manama, Feb. 6 (BNA): Minister of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning Esam bin Abdullah Khalaf received Egypt's Ambassador to Bahrain Yasser Mohammed Al Shaaban. The minister lauded the close relations and wide cooperation between the two countries. He stressed the importance of activating cooperation in the areas of agriculture, planning, municipality and infrastructure. The meeting reviewed the exchange of expertise in several areas, including fish farming, agriculture and infrastructure. The minister briefed the ambassador on the joint ventures with the private sector and on the new road projects. The ambassador lauded Bahrain's achievements and easing of procedures for investors and business people and said he was looking forward to greater cooperation between the two countries.
