Foreign Minister receives IOM Bahrain Chief of Mission

Manama, Feb. 9 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Bahrain Chief of Mission, Mohamed El Zarkani. The minister hailed the important humanitarian role played by IOM and its tangible efforts in improving the conditions of many migrants and providing them with various support, in addition to strengthening international cooperation in a way that guarantees humanitarian and organized migration management. He stressed Bahrain’s keenness to enable the IOM mission to fully play its role, wishing El Zarkani further success. El Zarkani praised the Kingdom’s approach in cooperating with IOM and its keenness to support its activities and programs at the regional and international levels, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
