Undersecretary meets Moroccan minister

Abu Dhabi, Feb.10 (BNA): Housing Minister Undersecretary Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa met Moroccan Minister of National Territory Development, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy Nezha Bouchareb on the sidelines of the tenth World Urban Forum (WUF 10), being held in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. The undersecretary who is heading Bahrain’s delegation to WUF 10 commended strong bilateral relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Morocco as well as joint efforts to achieve sustainable development goals, particularly the 11th goal related eleventh goal related to building safe and stable cities and societies Shaikh Abdullah Bahrain’s keenness on strengthening its relations with international and regional institutions and organizations, and benefiting from their expertise and practices in developing and enhancing government performance in various fields, and the implementation of joint international agendas. The Undersecretary outlined Bahrain’s housing programmes and achievements over the past ten years, stressing the ministry’s keenness to inform the international institutions participating in the forum about the efforts and measures undertaken by the Government to implement vital global goals.
