National Security Advisor receives UK Maritime Component Commander

Manama, Feb. 18 (BNA): National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received here today the United Kingdom Maritime Component Commander, Commodore Dean Basset. HH Shaikh Nasser welcomed the UK Navy official, and lauded the depth of the friendly Bahraini-British relations. They discussed areas of bilateral military cooperation through the exchange of expertise, as well as ways to bolster it. The National Security Advisor lauded the role played by the United Kingdom to maintain global security and peace.
