HM King hails Bahrain-Pakistan ties

Manama, Feb.19 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa hailed deep-rooted historic relations binding Bahrain and Pakistan, built on the basis of cooperation and mutual respect.
This came as he received at Al-Safriya Palace Pakistan’s Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjran and the accompanying delegation, who arrived in Bahrain at the invitation Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh.
Sanjran conveyed to HM the King greetings from Pakistani President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan, who wished the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
HM the King welcomed Pakistan’s Senate Chairman and extended greetings to President Alvi and Prime Minister Khan, wishing their people further progress and prosperity.
He commended such visits which contribute to expanding joint cooperation, exchanging expertise, particularly in the legal and legislative fields, in addition to coordinating stances, unifying efforts and visions in the parliamentary arenas and serve the Islamic issues.
HM the King hailed Pakistan’s honourable stances towards Bahrain, which reflects deep Islamic and fraternal relations binding the two countries.
He commended Pakistan’s pivotal role in serving the Arab and Islamic issues and maintaining regional and international security and stability.
He highlighted Bahrain’s successful parliamentary strides which continue to yield achievements on all levels, taking pride in the contribution of the legislative branch to the national developments. Regional and international developments were also discussed.
The Pakistani Senate Chairman expressed deepest thanks to HM the King for the warm welcome and kind hospitality, hailing royal efforts to strengthen bilateral relations, particularly legislative and parliamentary ties.
