HRH the Crown Prince visits the US Naval Support Activity in Bahrain

Manama, Mar. 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today visited the US Naval Support Activity in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Upon arrival, HRH the Crown Prince was welcomed by the Commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, Vice Admiral James Malloy. HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the efforts of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), alongside partners and allies, in safeguarding regional security and stability and noted the unwavering support provided to the BDF by HM the King, which has had a profound impact on the its combat capabilities. HRH the Crown Prince noted the US Fifth Fleet’s role in supporting regional safety and stability, and underscored the importance of further bolstering strategic partnerships with allies to ensure that regional maritime security and trade is preserved. HRH the Crown Prince was briefed on the Fifth Fleet’s main responsibilities and tasks within the region, and was also updated on the far-reaching maritime partnerships established with the Kingdom. His Highness Major Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, accompanied HRH the Crown Prince during the visit.
