National Security Adviser meets British minister

London, Mar.6(BNA): National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard, His Highness Major-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa met the British Minister for Defence Procurement Jeremy Quin within the framework of his official visit to the United Kingdom. He commended deep-rooted bilateral historic relations, saying that Bahrain, led by His Majesty the King, is keen on further strengthening joint ties. He lauded steadily-growing cooperation and coordination on all levels. Maj-Gen. Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised joint work to maintain security and stability in the regional, hailing the role of the British Naval Support Facility in strengthening these ties. Regional and international developments were also discussed. Minister for Defence Procurement Jeremy Quin hailed Bahrain’s strides in all fields, led by HM the King, stressing the UK’s keenness on pursuing joint cooperation and coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain on all levels. The meeting was attended by Admiral Nick Hine, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff, Dominic Wilson, responsible for international security policy in the Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America and other officials.
