BEGUM FAUZIA YUSUF RAZA GILANI MEETS PM

KUALA LUMPUR, Apr 17 (Bernama) -- Begum Fauzia Yusuf Raza Gilani, the wife
of Pakistan's Prime Minister, made a courtesy call on Prime Minister Najib Tun
Razak in Malaysia's administrative capital Putrajaya Thursday.

Begum Fauzia is leading a high level delegation to Malaysia to attend an
International Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education that is being
held here from April 14 to 17.

According to a statement by the High Commission for Pakistan here, during
the meeting, Begum Fauzia told the Prime Minister that the conference had proved
to be extremely fruitful and provided many insights on various issues relating
to early childhood care.

Earlier, the first lady of Pakistan was received by the Prime Minister's
wife, Rosmah Mansor, who presented her a rare traditional Malaysian
handicraft as a gift.
