BDF able to achieve continuous development: Commander-in-Chief

Manama, Mar. 19 (BNA): All Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) units are steadily moving towards carrying out well-thought-out plans of action to achieve sustainable military advances, BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshall Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa has said. Under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, the BDF is moving forward, with energy and vitality, with various military programs and projects in line with its remarkable development in military and administrative fields, he added. Shaikh Khalifa was inspecting BDF units to assess their combat and administrative readiness and their equipment. The BDF has been making huge strides in the areas of development and modernization at various scientific and practical levels, he said. Shaikh Khalifa expressed pride in the efforts exerted by BDF patriots who have been following in the footsteps of their predecessors who had made great sacrifices to defend Bahrain and who always strive with sincerity and determination to preserve the Kingdom's capabilities and accomplishments. He valued the BDF staff outstanding contributions and active role towards achieving full readiness.
