Court hearings to be postponed by one week

Manama, Mar. 19 (BNA): All court hearings on March 22-26 will be postponed by one week, the president of the Cassation Court has said. President Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainain said that all parties should be informed about the changes through text messages or postal letters. However, appeals before the Court of Cassation, civil and legal urgent cases, appeals of decisions to release detainees, consideration of renewal of pretrial detention, cases that are being examined electronically, requests submitted electronically to the enforcement courts, reviews of applications before the judge implementing the punishment, and the administration of civil, commercial and labour cases will be exempted, he added.
