Friday sermon, prayer to be suspended in Bahrain until further notice

Manama, Mar. 19 (BNA): As part of the pre-emptive measures to curb the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and ensure the safety of all, the Sunni Endowments Directorate has announced that Friday sermon and prayer will be suspended at all mosques in the Kingdom of Bahrain, starting from March 20, 2020 until further notice. The mosques will remain open for the five other daily prayers, the directorate added, wishing Bahrain constant security and safety.
