Bahraini Ambassador to Japan visits Yamanashi Prefecture

Tokyo, Mar. 20 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Japan, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Dosary, visited Yamanashi Prefecture to discuss and promote opportunities for cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Yamanashi Prefecture, as well as investment opportunities. The ambassador met the Governor of Yamanashi Prefecture, Mr. Kotaro Nagasaki, with whom he discussed means to advance cooperation and coordination between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Yamanashi Prefecture in a way that serves common interests. The Governor also expressed his support for strengthening trade relations between the two sides, especially in the jewelry industry. The Bahraini Ambassador highlighted a visit by a Japanese company specialised in the jewelry industry to the Kingdom of Bahrain on the sidelines of the Bahrain Jewelry Exhibition last November, and their contact with their Bahraini counterparts to establish sustainable business relations between the two sides, looking forward to attracting more Japanese companies in Yamanashi Prefecture specialised in the jewelry industry to the Kingdom of Bahrain, to be a portal for Japanese companies on Arabian Gulf countries and the Middle East region. The Bahraini Ambassador also visited the Institute of Gemology and Jewelry Art, and met the President of the Institute, Mr. Osamu Nakano. The Ambassador also met Mr. Makoto Kondo, Head of the Jewelry Industry Department at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in the governorate and the President of the Jewelry Trade Association. He also visited one of the major companies that manufacture and sell jewelry, and the Japanese Language School.
