HRH Premier: A rich record of landmark achievements

Manama, Mar. 20 (BNA): The much-awaited return of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to Bahrain after his recovery has filled the hearts of the citizens with extreme joy.
The widespread joy that prevailed marking HRH Premier’s safe return confirms the distinguished status he enjoys in the hearts of everyone, as a token of gratitude to his innumerable landmark achievements for the sake of the nation and its people, during His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa prosperous era.
Everyone in Bahrain is overwhelmed with happiness over HRH Premier’s safe return to continue the progress march in the kingdom, under HM the King’s leadership, and with support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
HRH Premier is among the inspiring personalities in the history of Bahrain, and has masterminded many pioneering development achievements that have placed the kingdom in leading positions, regionally and globally.
Indeed, the Prime Minister has focused his efforts on human resources development, out of his belief that the citizens are the country’s real asset. In this regard, thanks to his hard-work, perseverance and resolve, Bahrain was able to achieve the Millennium Development Goals ahead of deadline, outperforming many developed countries.
HRH the Prime Minister strived hard to diversify the national economy through developing many sectors, particularly the financial and banking one, entitling Bahrain to become a regional financial hub. In fact, the financial and banking sector has become the second non-oil sector regarding its contribution to the GDP by 1.67%, and the kingdom is home to 385 financial and banking institutions, with assets reaching USD 207 billion.
HRH Premier’s efforts and achievements have been recognised by the international community, and he has a rich record of international awards, the most recent of which was that of the World Health Organisation (WHO), which named him as a “World Leader in the health field” on May 20, 2019, the first-of-its-kind honouring to be granted to a leader.
