MALAYSIAN KING, QUEEN LEAVE ON STATE VISIT TO CHILE, URUGUAY
PETALING JAYA, April 18 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian King Tuanku Mizan
Zainal Abidin, and his consort Tuanku Nur Zahirah, left early Saturday on a
state visit to Chile and Uruguay.
The special aircraft carrying the royal couple took off at about 12.30am
from the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) airbase in Subang near here.
Their Majesties are scheduled to return to Malaysia on May 2.
Prime Minister Najib Razak and his wife, Rosmah Mansor, and Deputy Prime
Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and his wife, Norainee Abdul Rahman, were at the
airport to see them off.
Also at the airport were Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Maj Gen
(Rtd) Jamil Khir Baharom, Youth and Sports Minister Ahmad Shabery Cheek and
Terengganu Chief Minister Ahmad Said.
