Assistant Foreign Minister: Celebrating IDC consolidates development, peace and security

Manama, Apr. 5 (BNA): Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al-Doseri, noted that celebrating the International Day of Conscience (IDC), which was endorsed by the United Nations following an initiative by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, is another achievement to be added to the Kingdom’s record in the fields of serving humanity and achieving international peace and security through the promotion of religious, ethnic and cultural coexistence and diversity. He affirmed that the Kingdom, in line with the reform approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, based on justice and democracy, and through its membership in the Human Rights Council and other international committees, continues its success in the fields of political, economic and cultural human rights. The Assistant Foreign Minister added that the International Day of Conscience has become an important event that highlights the importance of ending disputes, crises and poverty, as well as combating all forms of violence, terrorism and extremism to better serve humanity.
