HH Shaikh Nasser pays tribute to HM King

Manama, Apr. 9(BNA): A tribute was paid to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for his keenness on citizens and residents’ health and safety. His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) Board of Trustees’ Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa hailed the royal directives which bolstered Bahrain’s standing and earned it World Health Organisation (WHO) praised. He praised the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, lauding the efforts exerted by the National Taskforce for Combating COVID-19, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He commended community initiatives, spearheaded by citizens to combat the pandemic, lauding their commitment, along with residents, to the precautionary measures. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa made the statement as he launched the RHF national initiative to make face masks win cooperation with the productive families, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health. He saluted social media activists who post video clips which contribute to promoting national unity, bolstering community awareness and debunking fake news. He stressed the importance of obtaining information from credible and secure sources as the world battles the novel coronavirus which endangers people, regardless of their race, religion, intellectual or social affiliation or sect, hence the need for concerted efforts to combat the pandemic. RHF Secretary-General Dr. Mustapha Al-Sayyed announced an agreement with a number of productive families and tailoring shop to make face masks under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and in compliance with the directives of the National Taskforce for Combating COVID-19. “The first batch of face masks will be distribute to labourers at their work sites and accommodation, as they are exposed to infection due to their mobility and mixing”.
