Al Mabarrah AlKhalifia and Zain Bahrain to launch “Ithra- 2020”

Manama, Apr. 26(BNA): AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation signed an agreement has joined hands for the second year with Zain Telecom (Zain Bahrain) to launch the second edition of the Youth Enrichment Programme “Ithra”.
The MKF scheme, which was first launched in 2012, is a three-year programme that aims to empower Bahraini youth to become proactive “community-minded” citizens.
The students enrolled at the The MKF university scholarship programme “Rayaat” will be provided training opportunities after their graduation as part of a scheme to strengthen community partnership and support students to gain required skills and expertise for a promising future.
AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation is also cooperating the mobile operator, Zain Bahrain, to run the #Stay_at_Home which aims to encourage people to remain indoors and instill community awareness during the current circumstances.
The competition is restricted to students enrolled at the Youth Enrichment Programme “Ithra” and the winners receive valuable gifts .
They will granted free electronic training courses from Google Garage, which is specialized in digital marketing strategy and growing business online by sharing photos or video explaining the enrichments and activities that they do from home.
AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) Board of Trustees’ Chairperson Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al-Khalifa commended the mobile operator, Zain Bahrain for its cooperation, which, she would contribute to achieve the MKF vision to empower to become leaders of the future.
MKF Executive Director for Communication and Consumer Relations Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al-Khalifa also hailed the steps taken by Zain Bahrain to support the community and encourage citizens and residents to stay at home in line with the Government’s precautionary measures.
