HRH Premier thanked by Labour Minister

Manama, Apr. 30(BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa received a cable of thanks from Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, marking the International Workers’ Day, which falls on May 1. On behalf of labour federations and workers, the minister extended deepest thanks to HRH the Premier on his continuous support to trade unions and keenness on promoting employment and providing rehabilitation programmes for graduates. He extended thanks to HRH the Premier who paid tribute during the virtual weekly Cabinet session to Bahrain’s workers’ contribution to national development, in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. He commended the Government’s strenuous efforts during these exceptional circumstances due to COVID-19 outbreak to protect workers’ safety and health and ensure their professional stability. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HRH the Premier with health and happiness and long life to continue the march of development and progress.
