Foreign Minister receives copies of ambassadors' credentials

Manama, May 12 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received through a virtual meeting today, copies of credentials of a number of Ambassadors-Designate to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting was attended by Undersecretary for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa. The Foreign Minister received credentials copies of Ambassador Edminas Bagdonas of the Republic of Lithuania, residing in Abu Dhabi and Ambassador Abu-Bakr Hassan Dan Sokoto of the Republic of the Niger, residing in Riyadh. The Foreign Minister welcomed them, lauding friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and their countries and joint efforts to promote them at all levels. He wished them continued success in their diplomatic duties. For their part, the ambassadors expressed pleasure in presenting their copies of credentials to the Foreign Minister, hailing strong relations of friendship and cooperation binding their countries with the Kingdom of Bahrain. They also stressed keenness on strengthening these ties in various fields to meet the common interests of all.
