Shura Council president hails royal address

Manama, May 12(BNA): Shura Council President Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, hailing his keenness on reaching out to his loyal people. He praised the people of Bahrain who are sparing no effort to protect nation, preserve achievements and support all measures and steps to pursue development and progress, led by HM the King. He commended the HM the King’s keynote address on the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan, hailing royal speech which sent a message of humanity, friendliness and amicable feelings from a wise leader to citizens and residents. He hailed the royal address which, he said represents a strong incentive for more discipline and commitment and a catalyst for the people of Bahrain and to contribute to the implementation of various governmental plans to tackle the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). He commended the royal tribute to the National Taskforce for Combating COVID-19, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. He expressed his confidence that Bahrain, led by HM the King, would overcome the current exceptional circumstances resulting from the pandemic outbreak, hailing the concerted efforts exerted by the medical, health and nursing teams, as well as administrative, civil and military staff. He saluted Bahrainis’ sacrifices and resilience as well as their tireless endeavors, sincerity and dedication to serving their country and maintaining its health security and safety for citizens and residents.
