Bahrain condemns terrorist bombing in Sinai

Manama, May 18 (BNA): Bahrain has condemned the terrorist bombing in Sinai Peninsula, Egypt, that resulted in killing and injuring security forces and civilians. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deep condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and the Egyptian government and people, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for all those injured by this cowardly terrorist act. The ministry also affirmed Bahrain's solidarity with Egypt against all who attempt to compromise its security and stability, and stressed its support for its tireless efforts to combat terrorism regionally and internationally. The ministry reiterated Bahrain's firm rejection of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism and called for concerted international efforts to eliminate the dangerous scourge.
