Foreign Minister holds virtual meeting with Singaporean counterpart

Manama, June 11 (BNA): Manama, June 11 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdellatif bin Rashid Al Zayani held a virtual meeting today with his Singaporean counterpart Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan. They discussed bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation and their perpetual growth at all levels. They also reviewed ways of bolstering ties between both countries, stressing joint efforts in facing the repercussions of coronavirus pandemic. The two ministers also reviewed issues of common interest. Dr. Al Zayani lauded the efforts of Singapore, spearheaded by its Foreign Minister, to organise a high profile conference marking the 75th anniversary of the United Nations Charter. He emphasised the importance of the conference as a platform to exchange constructive views to boost cooperation for the best interest of humanity.
