HRH Premier congratulated on UNESCO honour

Manama, June 14 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa has today received cables of congratulations from senior state officials, ministers and heads of civil society institutions on the UNESCO honour. The Preparatory Group of the Executive Board of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) approved yesterday, Friday, HRH Premier’s initiative to celebrate the International Day of Conscience, being the best means to mobilize the efforts of the International Community to consolidate peace, solidarity and understanding in order to build a sustainable world, The congratulatory cables were from Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA) Chairman Dr. Abdulhussein bin Ali Mirza, Housing Minister Bassem bin Yacoub Al-Hamer, Electricity and Water Minister Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak, Bahrain’s Ambassador to German Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla, Assistant Undersecretary for Consular Affairs, Resources and Information Khalil Yacoub Al-Khayyat, Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation (Al-Hurr) Chief Executive Officer Yacoub Al-Khalid and National Action Charter Politburo Chairman Ahmed Juma’a. They all extended deepest congratulations to HRH the Premier on the UNESCO honour, underscoring the importance of his initiative in bolstering global peace for a sustainable world free of wars and conflicts.
