Justice Ministry outlines digital strides

Manama, June 7 (BNA): The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments outlined its digital amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Undersecretary for Planning, Family Conciliation and Alimony, Supreme Council for Women (SCW) member, Dana Al-Zayani highlighted the ministry’s online work as part of a strategy which was launched years ago to digitalise judicial services. This came as she took part in Effectiveness of “Remote Working” Focus Group, which was organized by the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) through video conference. The virtual session discussed proposals to ensure the sustainability and diversification of pro-women services and enhance their participation in national development. Representatives of Equal Opportunities Committees, affiliated with 17 public sector institutions took part in the virtual focus group, including the First Deputy Premier Office.
