Speaker praises Saudi pivotal role

Manama, June 23 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal strongly condemned the attempt of the Iran-backed Houthi militias to target residential areas in Saudi Arabia, using ballistic missiles and bomb-laden drones. She voiced the stance in a cable to Saudi Shura Council President Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, reiterating Bahrain’s unwavering support to Saudi security and stability . She stressed the honourable stances and crucial role of Saudi Arabia and its leadership in defending the Gulf and Arab security. The Speaker hailed strong historic relations binding Bahrain and Saudi Arabia as well as steadily-growing cooperation, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
