Foreign Minister receives phone call from Azerbaijani counterpart

Manama, June 24 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today received a phone call from his Azerbaijani counterpart, Elmar Mammadyarov. The two ministers expressed their pride in the friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Azerbaijan, stressing their keenness to further bolster the levels of cooperation in all areas in a way that would benefit the two friendly countries and people. They also reviewed the exerted efforts to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, in addition to discussing the most prominent issues and topics of common concern on the regional and international scene.
