HM King issues amended law

Manama, June 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today ratified and issued law 17 of 2020, amending the first the clause of decree law 40 of 1999 on the GCC nationals’ ownership of constructed properties and land plots in the Kingdom of Bahrain, following its endorsement by the Shura Council and Council of Representatives. The Prime Minister and ministers, each in his jurisdiction, shall implement the provisions of the law, which shall come into effect a day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
